 The innovative Motorized-Z design combines an
operator friendly, fast and precise Z adjustment, with a dual air regulation system to
provide the first dependable high-speed small dot capability available in a pneumatic
inker. The Motorized-Z pneumatic inker is suitable for off-line and cabled-in in-line
applications on Electroglas, and KLA/TEL probers. The dot size is determined by
cartridge air pulse duration, adjusted via the controller settings. Depending on the ink
cartridge model, ink type and dot size mode selected, a 6 mil* to 50 mil* dot is possible.
The Z-UP and Z-DOWN buttons on the controller enable motorized adjustment of the inker Z
height in 0.0005" increments each time either button is depressed. This fast, precise
method of setting inker Z height simplifies and shortens initial setup time.
