Xandex
announces extended shelf life for DieMark 7824 and 7824T Inks.
In
response to customer requests for longer shelf life for 7824 series
inks, the Xandex chemistry laboratory has performed exhaustive testing
over the previous 12 months. The goal of this testing was to determine
if 7824 and 7824T inks would perform within specification if the
"in cartridge" shelf life was extended to four months instead
of the current two month shelf life.
The
test results indicate that the shelf life of 7824 and 7824T inks
can be extended to four months with NO EFFECT on the performance of the
inks.
Beginning
on September 22, 2003, all cartridge configurations manufactured with
7824 and 7824T inks will be labeled with an expiration date extending
four months from the date (month) of manufacture.
No
formula or production process changes are being made to 7824 or 7824T
inks. Testing was performed on batches of standard, unaltered 7824 and
7824T ink. No changes were made to the formula or in production process
used to manufacture the test ink batches.
